Is this a new app I have to install?
No — that's the whole point. LucidInbox connects to your Outlook account in the background. You keep using Outlook desktop, web, and mobile exactly as before; the only difference is that newsletters, notifications, and noise now end up in their own folders instead of your inbox.
Do you read my mail?
Only what's strictly needed to classify: sender, subject, and the first ~200 characters of the body. Attachments are never read. Snippets are deleted after 30 days. Your mail is never used to train any model — ours or anyone else's — and never sold or shared.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Amsterdam (EU), encrypted at rest and in transit. GDPR compliant, SOC 2 controls. If you disconnect from Outlook, we instantly lose all ability to read your mail.
What happens if I cancel?
One click and we disconnect. Optionally, every organized mail moves back to your Inbox — your mailbox is restored to its original state. No data, no folders, no traces left behind.
What about Gmail and iCloud?

How is this different from Outlook's built-in rules?
